I made this satirical documentary with Rich Peppiatt (Kneecap), after he quit his tabloid career to pursue filmmaking. Through a series of mischievous stunts and interviews with heavyweights of journalism, film, comedy and politics, the film exposes the hypocrisy at the heart of modern British tabloid culture. Rich conceived the project, developed from his one-man Edinburgh show, which I'd filmed stunts for. I co-produced and co-directed the film with Rich and edited it in Premiere.
The film was an official selection at Sheffield Doc/Fest 2014 and the East End Film Festival 2014, and was nominated for Best Independent Feature at the National Film Awards. It was bought by Netflix.
