Independently produced commission for Collectively, a global digital media platform backed by some of the world's largest companies and built around the aim of making sustainable living the new norm. The film documented the transformation of Forest Green Rovers under new owner Dale Vince, whose changes included an organic pitch recycling rainwater, a stadium powered by solar and wind energy, and an entirely vegan food offering. I self-shot on Canon C300 and edited in Premiere.
The club went on to achieve promotion to the English Football League in 2017, and were crowned League Two champions in 2022, earning promotion to League One. The United Nations recognised them as the world's first carbon-neutral football club in 2018. The film now stands as an early document of a story that became one of sport's most unlikely and widely covered sustainability success stories.
